In order to celebrate the 20 years anniversary of UNSCR 1325, Romania has launched the National Strategy and National Action Plan regarding the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1.325 (2000) Women, peace and security for 2020-2023, approved by the Government Decision no. 561/2020.
The Ministry of National Defense has taken the lead in promoting and implementing the WPS Agenda at national level and the Chief of the Gender Management Office has been appointed as National Focal Point.
