"Gender Training of the Trainers Course" lasting two weeks (2-12 September) was successfully completed at the Centre for Security Cooperation (RACVIAC)/ RACVIAC - Centre for Security Cooperation.
The course brought together participants from Southeast Europe and beyond, representing a variety of military and civilian institutions. From Romanian Ministry of National Defence the course was attended by major Stromberger Oana, specialist officer of the Gender management office.
The position of director of the Center for Security Cooperation (RACVIAC) is currently provided by the Ambassador of Romania to Croatia, Constantin-Mihail Grigorie, who is currently serving as the Romanian Ambassador to Croatia, this reconfirms Romania's role as an actor involved in strengthening dialogue and regional cooperation.
The course was organised in co-operation with the Nordic Centre for Gender in Military Operations, the Croatian Armed Forces and, for the first time, with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Croatien/Slowenien, and it provided participants with comprehensive training on the implementation of gender perspectives in military operations.
RACVIAC remains committed to promoting gender equality through high-quality training programmes and partnerships, with the aim of encouraging collaboration and stimulating significant changes in the security sector.
The course ended with the award of certificates to participants, symbolizing their participation and successful completion of the program.
