Female Empowerment Summit, 3rd edition, 26 mar. 2024 26.03.2024
On March 26, at the Cotroceni National Museum, under the High Patronage of the President of Romania and in partnership with the Embassy of the United States of America, OP Global Events organized the third edition of The Female Empowerment Summit, an event that has the role of bringing to the fore the impact and the female potential in the most important areas of modern societies.During this event, the representatives of the National Defence System, public order and national security supported a panel called „Females Reshaping the Future of Security and Defense Sector”.
The panel was moderated by Colonel Manuela Mihai, National focal point in the field of Women, peace and security, joined by Colonel Sandra Nan, Romanian Intelligence Service, Lieutenant-colonel Raluca Popescu, commander of the 24th Infantry Battalion „Ecaterina Teodoroiu” and prison police commissioner Andreea Dobritoiu, National Administration of Penitentiaries.
In recognition of her efforts in promoting women in the national defense system, public order and national security, Colonel Manuela Mihai received the Leadership & resilience award from the organizers.

The Female Empowerment Summit aims to change mentalities, encourage personal development and facilitate the involvement of women in entrepreneurship, technology, education, economics, medicine and defence. At the same time, OP Global Events aims to contribute to the strategic collaboration between the United States of America and Romania, by creating a community meant to become a promoter of education globally.
The first edition of the event took place in Romania, in autumn 2023, at the US Embassy in Bucharest, the second edition took place on February 29, 2024 in Beverly Hills, California, in partnership with the Consulate General of Romania in Los Angeles.
