National focal point of Romania in the field of Women, peace and security and Chief of the Gender Management Office within the Department for Parliament Liaison and Personnel Welfare, Colonel Manuela-Elena Mihai participated on Tuesday, March 19, in the working group „Deep Dive: Advancing Women, peace and security through National Action Plans”, organized at the headquarters of the NATO Command in Brussels, Belgium.

The activity took place in hybrid format and brought together representatives of NATO member and partner nations, who held discussions on the implementation and development of National Action Plans in the field of Women, peace and security.

The representative of Romania supported various interventions related to the adaptability and evolution of the „Women, peace and security Agenda”, the implementation of the field at national level, the international approach from the perspective of co-presidation, in 2023, the Global Network of National Focal Points with the United States of America.
