Specific training with Alabama National Guard, 15-19 May 2023 26.05.2023
Between May 15 and 19, in the Constanta garrison, the staff of the Gender Management Office conducted a gender training in partenership with the representatives of the National Guard of the State of Alabama.
During the five days, training sessions were held on removing gender stereotypes, gender equality and equity, leadership and the gender perspective, giving the students an excellent opportunity for personnel developement through the exchange of experience in the implementation the field and by sharing lessons learned and best practices.
The training program is part of the Romanian-American bilateral cooperation activities in the field of Women, peace and security, continuing the series of training activities carried out at the Air Force Aceademy in Brasov in December 2022.
