Conference of National Focal Points on Women, Peace and Security, 4-6 February 2025 09.02.2025
Between February 3-6, Colonel Manuela-Elena Mihai, head of the Gender Management Office and National Focal Point on Women, Peace and Security participated in the Conference of National Focal Points on Women, Peace and Security, organized in Tokyo, Japan.During the event, the National Focal Point had a bilateral meeting with the Director for International Cooperation on Women, peace and security, Japan Ministry of Defense, Ms. Tomoko Matsuzawa, during which an exchange of experiences took place, establishing a possible future cooperation on the domain.
On February 5th, the symposium entitled Women, Peace and Security 25th: Towards Intergenerational initiatives took place, organized at the United Nations University, in Tokyo, the National Focal Point of Romania had an intervention in the first part of the event on the theme Overview of WPS and International Trends.
