Conference of Gender Advisors of the Ministry of National Defence, 7 mar. 2023 07.03.2023
State Secretary for the Parliament liaison and welfare personnel, Eduard Bachide, participated on Tuesday, March 7, alongside the Minister of National Defence, Angel Tîlv?r, at the Conference of Gender Advisors of the Ministry of National Defence.
Organized on the margins of the International Women’s Day, March 8, and aimed at gender advisors from the Ministry of National Defence, the conference aimed to increase the visibility of women in the defense sector and to conduct a first analysis of the state of gender perspective integration in military structures.
The activity took place at the National Military Circle in the presence of distinguished guests, Mrs. Simona Butacu, under Secretary of State within the National Agency for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men and Minister Counselor at the Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities, Mrs. Gianina Dimitrescu, Director at the National Agency for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men and Gender Advisors of the Ministry of National Defence.
The event was organized by Lieutenant Colonel Manuela Bercea, co-president of the Global Network of National focal points at UN level and chief of the Gender Management Office of the Ministry of National Defence, a structure in coordination of the Department for Parliament liaison and welfare personnel.
